Is everything really processed in my browser?

Yes. Every tool on OhMyIcon is a small JavaScript program that runs in your browser tab. Your source images are never uploaded.

Do I need to sign up?

No account is needed. Just open a tool and drop a file.

Is it free?

Yes — completely free. The site is supported by ads.

Can I use it offline?

Most tools work offline once the page is loaded. The browser caches the JavaScript and HTML.

What is the maximum image size?

There is no hard limit, but very large images (>20 MB) may cause your browser to feel slow.

Are the generated icons App Store / Play Store ready?

The pixel dimensions match Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design specifications. You may still need to wrap them in an Xcode asset catalog or an Android adaptive-icon XML.

Why does the favicon checker say it can't fetch a site?

Browsers refuse cross-origin requests unless the destination explicitly allows them. The checker falls back to a public proxy and, if that also fails, lets you paste the page HTML manually.

Why do I see ads?

Ads cover the running cost of the site (domain, hosting, time). Ads are clearly labeled and never block the tools.
